In My Law Story, we meet an increasing number of law students who want to complement political science to their law studies. They want to understand the origins of war and the maintenance of peace.
My Law Story’s mission is to improve diversity, equality and well-being in the field of law. We work with law students, lawyers, and jurists who are employed in legal corporations. And we see how law students of today have the potential of leading the tomorrow.
We want to support law students in becoming strong leaders, wise diplomats and powerful parliamentarians. In this case, one of the most significant skills we need to teach our students is to master international relations and to work interdisciplinary with law.
In our opinion, one must meet the power where it is playing out. This is essential, if we want a better understanding of the world we are living in, if we want to understand the legal and political challenges we are facing and if we want to understand the opportunities an interconnected world offers us.
This is why My Law Story is launching a new network: ‘Legal Network on International Law’. The aim of the network is to bring law students and jurists closer to the globalized society.
With this initiative, My Law story creates a platform that will educate law students and improve their understanding of topics such as commerce, security, quality of life, and the environment. We will make that possible by organizing visits to different embassies, by arranging personal talks with the ambassadors and through meaningful conversations with the embassy staffs. We will also set up meetings with the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and arrange debate with leading researchers from this field.
